Overview

When you tap on a Shipment in the Shipment List Screen you will see the Shipment Details screen.

Please Note: Your Shipment Details screen make look different. It maybe different due to:

  1. Shipment is only for 1 package type.

  2. Shipment doesn't contain any inventory or product types items.

  3. Settings for your company.

  4. Customizations for your company.

Top Bar

Across the top of the screen you can see:

  1. The Shipment’s Customer Account ID

  2. The Shipment’s IDS Shipment Number

Dimensions, Inventory and Product Types

If the shipment contains:

  1. Multiple Package Types

  2. Shipment Inventory or Product Types Items

Then you will see the following across the top of the screen

When you click on “Dimensions”, you will see the following screen

Address Section

Below the Top Bar you will see the address section. It will look like this:

The address beside the blue bar:

is the Pick Up Address.

The address beside the orange bar:

is the Delivery Address.

Service Level, Package Type and Ready By / Due By Times

Below the address section is the following:

Service Level of the Shipment

Package Type of the Shipment

Times are:

  1. If the shipment is in a status of “Dispatched” and needs to be picked up, then the time displayed will be the “Ready By” aka time to pick up the shipment.

  2. If the shipment is in a status of “Picked Up” and needs to be delivered, then the time displayed will be the “Due By” aka time to deliver the shipment.

POD (Proof of Delivery) POP (Proof of Pick Up)

Below the Service Level, Package Type and Ready By / Due By Times section you will see the POD (Proof of Delivery) POP (Proof of Pick Up) section

  1. If the shipment is in a status of “Dispatched” and needs to be picked up, the you will see a “Proof of Pick Up” field

2. If the shipment is in a status of “Picked Up” and needs to be delivered/verified, the you will see a “Proof of Delivery” field

To enter in a name into the field, just tap the field. The background colour will change from grey to yellow.

Then type in the name

Reference, Pieces and Weight

Below the POD and POP section, you see the Reference, Pieces and Weight Section

These fields can be editable if set in your company’s preferences

The Reference field is on the left side

The Pieces field is in the middle

The Weight field in on the right side

Signature

A signature can be captured at both the time of pick up and at the time of delivery.

To capture a signature, click the “sign” button located near the bottom of the screen.

The signature capture screen will then appear on the screen

Then have the shipper or the receiver sign the screen

If you need to clear the screen to capture the signature again, click the “clear” button located in the top right hand corner.

If you need to go back to the Shipment Details screen without capturing a signature, click the cancel button located in the bottom right hand side of the screen

When you have successfully captured a signature, click the “Ok” button located in the bottom left hand side of the screen.

Update Shipment to Picked Up

To update a shipment to a status of “Picked Up”, please do the following:

  1. If the shipment is currently in a status of “dispatched”

  2. On the bottom right side of the screen you will see a button labelled “Pickup”

  3. Click on “Pick Up”. This will:

    1. save any captured POP with the shipment record.

    2. save any captured signature with the shipment record.

    3. save any edited reference, piece or weight (if this preference has been set for your company)

    4. record the current time as the Time of Pick Up (TPU).

If you are not able to pick up shipment, please do the following:

  1. if the shipment is currently in a status of “dispatched”

  2. on the bottom left side of the screen you will see “Cannot Pick-Up”

  3. Click this button if you cant pick up the shipment.

  4. This will update the shipment record with the following record.

Update Shipment to Delivered/Verified

To update a shipment to a status of “Delivered/Verified”, please do the following:

  1. If the shipment is currently in a status of “picked up”

  2. On the bottom right side of the screen you will see a button labelled “Deliver”

  3. Click on “Deliver”. This will:

    1. save any captured POD with the shipment record.

    2. save any captured signature with the shipment record.

    3. save any edited reference, piece or weight (if this preference has been set for your company)

    4. record the current time as the Time of Delivery (TDL).
