Lost Internet Connection

If you are seeing this error:

That means the IDS Core PC Client cant connect to the IDS Core Servers.

You will need to do the following:

On the computer that is displaying the above error, go to: https://www.speedtest.net/ and run a test.

  1. If you cant connect to speedtest link, then your computer has lost all internet connection. Please contact your company’s IT Department and/or Internet Service Provider.

  2. If you can connect but the test provided on the link above shows a:

    1. download speed of less than 1 Mbps.

    2. download speed being measured in of Kbps.

    3. ping of 1000 ms or more.

    4. Then you need to contact your company’s IT Department and/or Internet Service Provider.

If the test above shows a speed greater than 1 Mbps and a ping less that 1000 ms, please do the following:

  1. Take a screen shot of your test results from https://www.speedtest.net/

    1. You can use the Windows 10 Snipping Tool

  2. Contact Support Directly and provide them with:

    1. the screenshot from your Speedtest.

    2. the username of the person who is experiencing the issue.
