How to Update the IDS 2 Shipping Portal

The following Article describes how to Update the IDS 2 Shipping Portal Client.

Step-by-step guide

  1. When IDS provides an update to the IDS 2 Shipping Portal, the following will appear on the bottom of the IDS 2 Shipping Portal screen.
  2. Click on "Update Available"
  3. This will then close the IDS 2 Shipping Portal. 
  4. After which, you will see this screen.
  5. Click on Next.
  6. On the next screen,


  7. Click Next (unless you know how and want to alter the install location).
  8. On the next screen,
  9. Click the Install button.
  10. At this point, your computer may show a UAC install warning. Please click Okay or Allow.
  11. IDS 2 Shipping Portal will now install the update.
  12. When you see this screen,
  13. Click "Finish".
  14. You will now find the IDS Shipping Portal Short Cut on your Desktop and in your list of programs:
