How to Install the IDS 2 Shipping Portal

The following Article describes how to install the IDS 2 Shipping Portal onto a PC Computer.

Please note, this is a Windows Based Program, it will not install on a Apple computer. 


As with all software, your Windows User will need to have privileges / rights to install a software program to continue.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Download the IDS 2 Shipping Portal as found here: Click Here
  2. Once the Software has downloaded onto your computer, double click on it to start the installation process.

  3. Depending on your computer's security settings, you may see this screen (IDS is an official publisher with Microsoft and does have an official certificate).
  4. If you do, please click on "More Info". 
  5. Then click on the "Run Anyway" button located on the bottom right hand-side of the screen.
  6. After which, you will see this screen.
  7. Click on Next.
  8. On the next screen,


  9. Click Next (unless you know how and want to alter the install location).
  10. On the next screen,
  11. Click the Install button.
  12. At this point, your computer may show a UAC install warning. Please click "Okay" or "Allow".
  13. IDS will now install.
  14. When you see this screen,
  15. Click "Finish".
  16. You will now find the IDS Shipping Portal Short Cut on your Desktop and in your list of programs:
