General Reminders

  • Whencreating a new user remember to click the Clear button before starting
  • To assign a role or zone right-click inside the User Roles box or the User Zones box (see screenshot)
  • All users must be assigned the ''basic_user'' role
  • BB Conn Details controls how often mobile devices will attempt to update data
  • A Reasonable value: ''60,7,19,MON,TUE,WED,THU,FRI,SAT,SUN''
  • ''Format:'' poll-period,start,end,day[[,day]...
  • poll-period is specified in seconds
  • start is the first hour in 24hr time
  • end is the last hour in 24hr time
  • day is the three letter code for the day
  • To disable user login (ie. staff member quit): Remove all roles except ''basic_user''

Any User ID created in the User ID field cannot contain any spaces or special characters. User Ids must only be numbers and/or letters

driverUse only for drivers, allows access only via the IDS Mobile App
calltaker Allows access to Trip Entry, Scheduling, Trip Search and Account Entry
dispatcher Allows access to Trip Viewer, Trip Entry, Trip Search, Scheduling, Drivers, Trailers, Dispatch and Account Entry
billing Allows access to Trip Viewer, Trip Entry, Pricing/Posting, Trip Search, Invoicing & Reports, Scheduling, Account Entry and Staff Members
admin Administrator. Allow access to everything
route Represents a Route, not a user
trailer Represents a Trailer, not a user
