After a couple of years of issues for a Canadian Customer of IDS, its a known issue that Shaw's Managed Services will flag IDS Messages as a possible virus / malware / trojan attack and either slow or filter out these messages.

This results in Dispatchers not receive shipments on their computer.

To be clear, the shipment details never, in any form, ever appear, on the Dispatchers Computer. 

Shaw was made aware of this issue in 2016 and has yet to fully resolve this issue.

IDS's Vancouver Office does use a normal Shaw Internet Connection and have never had an issue, this issue is only with Shaw's Managed Services. 

As such, IDS can not support a client using strongly recommends that our clients not use Shaw's Managed Services. If you are current currently using Shaw's Managed Services, you will need to revert back to a normal Shaw Internet Connection.
