Export Individual Invoices for importing into Quickbooks

Open the IDS Export program 

 Click on “Edit” then “Preferences” then “IDS Settings”.

Make a note of the “Last IDS Invoice Number” used.  This will be needed after importing individual invoices.

To import an individual invoice, say invoice number  100.  Change the “Last IDS Invoice Number” to one number less than the invoice number to be imported.  In this example change the  “Last IDS Invoice Number” to 99. Change the last invoice number to 100 which is the invoice number to be exported.

Click on “Close Settings” and then click on “Get Invoices From IDS”

Repeat the process for each invoice needed to be imported.

Start the Quickbooks import program to import the exported invoice.

After importing the invoices change the “Last IDS Invoice Number” back to the one noted at the start of this process.
