You are not allowed to store Credit Card or Debit Card details in IDS. Doing so will breach your contract with IDS Internet Dispatch Services. Any Credit Card or Debit Card found within IDS must be removed.

Under law, within most jurisdictions, its actually illegal and you could face both Criminal and Civil litigation.

Beyond that, it will breach your contract with your Credit Card or Debit Card processor and your bank.

New laws and regulations, even make it illegal for payment gateways to store Credit Card or Debit Card details. Once the processor has used the card, they must purge the Credit Card or Debit Card details from their system. For reoccurring orders they then replace the Credit Card or Debit Card details with a very secure encryption key.

If you wish to store Credit Card or Debit Card information, contact your Credit Card or Debit Card processor or Bank for details on what services they offer to protect you and your customers.
