DSD Returns

This guide will explain how to:

Pickup a shipment

Deliver a shipment at the warehouse

Deal with an Overscan

Pickup

The Returns Screen is to be used by a driver when they are picking up a return package from the store location.

From the Menu, select "Returns"

Scan the "Location Barcode".

Do not manually input the "Location Barcode"

If you tap on a shipment it will show the shipment details which displays the trip id, pickup location, delivery location, reference upc, piece count, and weight.

Return Shipments for that store will appear 

Do Note: The field at the top of the Screen will say, "Return Tote Code"

The screen will look this (you may have more than 1 result)

Scan the products barcodes that you need to pickup.

Continue this process for all Returns for that Store Location.

When done, click the "Next" button located on the bottom of the screen.

You will now see a review screen which you can use to double check if any errors were made.

Press "Accept Delivery" to continue.

You will now have to capture a Proof of Pick Up (POP)

Capture a Signature

Then click "Pick Up"

The shipment will then appear in your DSD Returns Screen with an Orange bar on the left side marking it as picked up.


Delivery at the Warehouse

To Deliver at the Warehouse you must be a warehouse employee and must first claim the shipment from the driver.

Once a shipment is claimed you will see the shipment in the DSD Return screen with an orange bar indicating it's been "Picked Up"

If you tap on a shipment it will show the shipment details which displays the trip id, pickup location, delivery location, reference upc, piece count, and weight.

Scan the Warehouse location code to begin delivery. You will see a screen that looks similar to this.

From this screen, scan the item UPCs for each item shown.

In this case there was two returns for (Bond Street Blue KS 20 AU 70631 (PK)).

When finished a "Next" button will appear, press it to continue.

You will be taken to a review screen to ensure everything is in order and no mistakes were made.

Press "Accept Delivery" to continue.

Now type in your name in the POD Name box and sign for the delivery.

When you are finished press the "Deliver" button.

 


Overscan

If you over scan the amount you are supposed to pickup you will see this.

If you encounter this tap the over-scanned shipment and this menu will appear.

Press "Reset Scan For This Tote" and re-scan the required items.
