The driver's pin on the IDS GPS Map is not accurate or is not updating.
If IDS's GPS Map is showing your driver in the middle of the ocean off the coast of Africa, that is because the phone has either never sent a real GPS location to IDS or it is sending 0,0. |
For IDS's Map to show the driver's latest GPS location, the following must be true:
Modern smart phones have many "location services", but only one of those services is real GPS. To see if the phone has real GPS turned on and active, do the following.

Even if you can accurately locate yourself on the phone's Google Maps, as per above, if you are not logged into IDS as the correct user and dont have an active data signal on the phone, IDS will not map you. To check, please do the following:
