How to Update IDS App 2

This article describes how to update your existing installed IDS 2 App on an Android phone.

To update your existing IDS 2 App on an Android phone, please do the following:

1. Login into your IDS 2 App on your phone and visit any screen within the app.
   
2. After a few minutes, you will see in the top right hand side of the screen, "Update Available"
   
3. Once you see the above, log out of IDS.
   
4. Then click on and open up IDS App 2. When you do, you will see a pop up saying, "Installing a software Update." Select, ok to continue.
   
5. Depending on your phone, you will see a similar screen as below; however, some phones will show the background colour as black. Click on "Install."
   
6. The update will install. This might take a few minutes.
   
7. When it's done, click, "Done."
   
8. Then log back into IDS as per usual.

If you have any issues with updating the app, you can also delete the app, then reinstall from here: http://www.idsdispatch.com/ids2app/
