IDS 2 App's notifications are normal Android App Notification are controlled by your android just like any other notification.

Based on your Android Version, you can control the sounds and volume. For each Android version, please click on one of the links below.

To find out what verision of Android you are running, do the following.

  1. On the Android Phone.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Then "About device"
  4. Then look for "Android Version"
  5. If you dont see Android Version on that screen then click on "Software Information"
  6. The Android version will be a number, such as 7.0, 4.3.1, etc.


For Android versions of 7 (This could look like 7 or 7.0 or 7.1.2) which is also known as Android Nougat:  Sounds and Volume Control of Notifications for IDS 2 App for Android 7 Nougat
